Spot Cleaner & Stain Remover is made from pure, petroleum-free glycol (100% bio-based activator and stabilizer made from corn), salt (a whitening and brightening agent,) lemon & lime (helps dissolve and break down grease), and eucalyptus essential oil (for an odor-busting, fresh scent).
Our naturally-derived formula contains no alcohol, acids, ammonia, bleaches, dyes, or phosphates. This spot cleaner is tough on stains and safer for kids and pets.
To Spot Clean Your Rug:
1: Spray on the stain. For tougher stains, allow the solution to set for 1-2 minutes.
2: Agitate, blot, and wipe away the stain using a clean, white terry cloth towel. For tougher stains, use a brush to agitate the rug fibers to lift out the stain more efficiently. Afterward, use a cloth towel to absorb the stain. For very tough stains, repeat the above process.
3: All done! It is not necessary to rinse out or wash the rug.
As a Pre-wash Treatment:
Saturate the stain with the cleaner and machine wash as normal.
For tougher stains, follow the same instructions as above before machine washing as normal.
Cleaning Reference Guide:
Stains Easily Removed with Spot Cleaning: Wine, coffee, soy sauce, mustard, dirt, mud, urines/feces
Stains Requiring Multiple Cycles: Hot sauce, ketchup, tomato sauce, olive oil
Stains Unlikely to Come Out: Acrylic or oil paint
Avoid using any spot cleaners or stain remover sprays on Ruggable Pet Bed or Pillow insert covers (the covers that encase the pillow filling or foam inserts), as they will reduce the cover’s water repellency. For best results, follow the specific cleaning instructions provided for each product.
